Our Story

Prospero’s founder and Managing Director is Kathryn Waters. Kathryn has wide industry experience in costume design and management – a sector that demands a magical mix of meticulous planning, creativity and organisational skills.

Kathryn developed a gift for creating immersive experiences with music and drama. Combining this with her management abilities, she has followed her dream of setting up a wonderfully imaginative and bespoke event planning service.

The result is Prospero Events. With scrupulous attention to detail, and connected to a vast network of contacts with creative and prestigious companies, Prospero provides events and celebrations that you and your guests will treasure.

Our mission

Our mission is to produce unique, themed events with a strong accent on performance and live music.  This bespoke, individual service provides celebrations with the same professional ethos as a theatre production.

We create unique, fabulous events for each client.  Events include high-quality, ‘inventive’ food, and appropriate live entertainment, music and theatre.  This is all provided in a beautiful setting to ensure that each special day is a never-to-be forgotten occasion for our clients and their guests.
